Our Story
At Special Ops, we are dedicated to providing exceptional ground transportation services to our clients. Our journey began in 1988 when our founders, The Poppenberg Family, recognized the need for a reliable and affordable transportation option. Since then, we have been committed to delivering top-notch services to our clients.
In 1988 we were the first Limousine service in the state to offer only a fleet Lincoln Town Car sedans and 60" Stretch Limos (6 passengers). We then were the first in the state to offer in-car video safety from DriveCam in our fleet. GPS Tracking insured the vehicle was in rout and on-time all the time and assured our clients the vehicle stayed on location when using our hourly charter services for Business meeting, Dinner, Concert, Sports Events, Wedding, and Special Events.
In recent times, ride-hailing apps like Uber, Lyft, and traditional taxis have faced accusations of sexual assaults, home burglaries, and lawsuits related to car accidents. Our staff, when dropping off company vehicles at Ford and Lincoln dealerships, have had to rely on Uber and Lyft to return to the office. Many of us have encountered reckless driving, speeding, over-reliance on GPS, and communication issues when trying to adjust the route to avoid known traffic congestion. We now offer to match the rates for BLACK and SUV rated offered by Uber plus a Chauffeur Gratuity to any NEW client to demonstrate how our AFFORDABLE PERSONAL VIP Services are provided for decades.
